Caitlin Alexander

A life-long interest in drawing dried up after Caitlin studied painting in school. Immersed in academic fine art, she had no idea how to connect to her voice, imagination, or purpose. She was disconnected from her classmates and felt painting required solitude and a somber attitude. It wasn't until Winter 2016 that she was introduced to the work of some of today's most influential Visionary Artists. The concepts and techniques were so elevated from her academic knowledge of 'Art History' that she vowed to meet and study with them. By June she was enrolled in a 3 day workshop at Sonic Bloom's Visionary Art Academy. There, not only was she taught techniques she had never learned, she was shown how to access the well of divine inspiration and a worthy purpose for doing so. She was astonished and humbled to discover the conscious community and a network of passionate, supportive, collaborative artists.

This family has been the single greatest source of acceptance, inspiration and transformation I have ever encountered. It is through this community I learned that I Know Who I Am. Each time I pick up a brush, I am overcome with gratitude to those who have shown me that presence and camaraderie are far greater fuel than sadness and solitude. It is my prayer that each piece be a capsule which transmits the feelings of wonder and limitlessness that were bestowed upon me by this community and the Spirit that moves us. Just as art guided me, I hope to create beacons for those who wander - so that they, too, may find their way Home.

Evan Kuntz

In a land far, far away, on the top of the tallest mountain surrounded by the lushest valley, there exists the tale of The Wizard. A man as old as time itself, Mother Earth's original friend, sits in a cave etching away images of devotion to the wind and the ground beneath his hairy feet. Such it had always been. Few had ever seen this man, as those who saw his handiwork would never return to the village they came from. Not long ago, however, villagers began to tell a new tale, of the day the sky darkened and the birds fell silent. The breeze caught the distinct scents of coconut and hibiscus and suddenly a great wave crashed over the mountain. The villagers cried out yet the water never touched them. After millennia of devotion Gaia heard the Wizard's prayer and called him to action. Just when the world is at the brink of disaster Evan the Wizard comes bursting out of his cave, riding the wave while surfing a mystic sea turtle and etching visual spells encoded with the antidote to the toxicity of today.

Sit down and be spellbound, feel your heart skip, your breath starting shallow and then deepening. Feel your soul being pulled into the other side, the atmosphere in The Wizard's delicate realms surround you and you fill your lungs with loving prana from distant lands. You realize the places he's depicting are portals to dimensions of healing, stillness, and ancient codes of wisdom. Feel your soul begin to lift up, up, out of your body and into the ether of magic that cleanses it. You, too, will never return to the village from whence you came. But do not fear, though you may not be going back - you are, going home.
